Tribute Tuesday ~ Great Food!

Today’s tribute is to some great food off the beaten tourist path.
Visiting, or do you live in, Las Vegas? Like Mexican food?
Then you’ll have to check out this great little place southeast of the strip.
El Herradero Restautrant. Located at 1725 E. Warm Springs, Las Vegas
The restaurant is a small place located in a strip mall. There’s no alcohol there and the hours seem somewhat limited (Mon-Fri: 9 am to 8 pm & Saturday 10 am to 6 pm ~ my recommendation is to call before you go to confirm their business hours 702.270.3444). But the food is wonderful! The chips, guacamole and salsa are homemade. The chips aren’t all that salty and the salsa has a nice combination of bite and sweetness. There’s a good selection of different dishes and the portions are generous. For those who like kick with their food, they have a “salsa buffet” that has different levels of hot sauces. Prices are reasonable.
