An eccentric and eclectic writer, C.R. Moss pens stories for the mainstream and erotic romance markets, giving readers a choice of sweet, savory or spicy reads, usually within a sub-genre or two — paranormal, sci-fi/fantasy, time travel, or western flare.
More About C.R. Moss:
So what does she write?
She writes stories from the light and sweet to the dark and deadly with varying degrees of sexual heat ~ Sweet: closed bedroom door/to an ajar door when it comes to sex; Savory: a bit of an open/closed bedroom door; Spicy: the bedroom door is wide open and the scenes are explicit and hot. Writing as C.R. Moss gives her and her muses the freedom to explore worlds of possibilities when it comes to love.
C.R. lives in NV and her stories take place, either in part or in full, in and around the Las Vegas area. In fact, even this website sports “a look of home.” The background picture was taken in an area just a few miles west of Las Vegas and happens to be the inspiration for the setting of the Double D Ranch Tales saga.
She also has a passion for penning dark fiction. Writing under the name Casey Moss allows her to slate other stories under Horror ~ Paranormal ~ Suspense ~ Thriller ~ Urban Fantasy. Visit: http://caseymossbooks.com/
~ C.R. Moss has been studying the craft of writing since her early teens. It started with working on the school newspaper in middle school to creative writing classes and Teens Art Festivals in high school. She received her BA in Communications, Information and Library Studies from Rutgers College with a strong concentration in English Lit/Writing and Interpersonal Communications/PR. Studying under the mentorship of Terri Valentine (author of ‘Sands of Time,’ a Zebra Historical Romance), she honed her novel writing skills. Now she finds herself taking the occasional online class and devouring all the writing how-to books she can get her hands on.
~ Currently a resident of the hot, high desert in the southwest, C.R. knew she wanted to write at a young age, as early as she learned to read, cooking up stories to entertain herself in the rural, non-kid-laden area she had lived in. But she took a round about way to settle down as a fiction writer, having worked in the corporate and real estate realms writing newspaper articles, press releases, corporate newsletters, etc. Now that she’s finished her time in the rat race, she has returned to her first love: creative writing. When she isn’t at her computer cooking up another tale, she can be found hanging out with her husband and cat, reading a book, chillin’ in front of the TV, or working on a craft project. She has also been known to play WOW.
She loves to hear from readers!
